So, for anyone who doesn't follow Troll Country Naruto's Facebook group, we have a date set for the Chunin:

When: March 9th, 2013. Registration starts at 10:00am (Event begins at 11)

Where:
Troll Country Games
6780 E Hampden Avenue
Denver CO, 80224

Cost: $5 (This is mandatory)

The prizing is a little different this time around, including spiffy new promos. The format will be block, so sets 22 and up will be legal as usual. Make sure you have a decklist, or be ready to write one out when you arrive at Troll Country. If you plan to write one out, please arrive by 10:00am.

Sounds great! I should be able to make that! I might just participate with a starter deck to get the hang of the gameplay, but I'll definitely bring all my rares/supers to trade, and try to get a list of things I'm looking for. At the moment I can say for sure I need Dragon Flame Jutsu from ...weapons of war (set 22) i think, and 1 Hidan (Immortal Soul) from set 25 (uncommon), and 2 summoning tree jutsus (set 26).

I MIGHT be able to make it to Gryphon tomorrow. The regular WoW TCG group isn't able to make it so we're cancelling, I believe. I've got work for a few hrs early in the morning, but I'll be trying to head out there to check it out ^^ and I'll bring my cards with me for trades. Should I bother with stuff pre-set 22? Or are people usually just interested in set 22 onward for Block?

Unfortunately (and obviously), I wasn't able to show up last Sat. I ended up working a lot later than I thought I was going to, and then had newfound plans after that. I should be up there on the 26th, though. I've spent WAY too much $ on something I haven't even gotten to play yet T_T

Ok guys, Gryphon will be hosting the first, first quarter chunin of the year on Feburary 23rd, 2013!

1st Quarter Chunin Event
The entry fee for this event will be $10, but this goes completely toward prizing. Registration will begin at 10 with the tournament starting at 11. This will be a block legal event. Please come prepared with deck lists to save time, but we can provide deck lists as well. Also, great deck names are greatly appreciated.

Hey all, so I'm definitely going to Gryphon on the 26th (this Sat). I've got my cards sorted out now into binders/deckboxes and would REALLY like to get some trades in, as there's quite a lot of stuff I need :< I've got quite a few supers/rares/rare foils all block legal for trade (36 supers, not all for trade tho). I specifically at this point need The Warhawk, Deidara (fiery wrath) (s23), spontaneous tree summoning (s26), Sakura (concentrated punch) (tp4), the Naruto super rare from TP4, 1 Shikamaru's Decision (tp4 rare), 1 Student and Sensei (s25 starter rare), and 1 Mind transfer jutsu (uncommon from s22). I'm sure there's a few other things I need, but off the top of my head those are what I'm definitely in need of. If anyone has any of those for trade/sale, let me know/bring them this Sat!
