Apparently Bandai does not have an application on file for Dalez. I am in the process of contacting them to see if they want to apply and host the Chunin for this round.

Cheers,
-Matt

"Ben Con?" Oh thats an easy one. Its a convention for fans of the show "Ben 10" on Cartoon Network. Yep. All 3 of them.

Ha ha ha.

Just thought I'd put a joke in here.

Or moreso...kill time. Waiting for Shippuden 17 to finish its download....

I'll see you guys tomorrow at Vallhallas.

Ben Con (as in benefit) is a local gaming convention held by the Rocky Mountain Benefit Gamers Association (RMBGA) devoted to raising money for both local and national charities. As the Card Games coordinator, I have been running events there for the last few years.

Sadly, (I just found out today) it looks as if this year's convention is canceled due to troubles with the hotel hosting it.

This setback, however, will allow me to run the 'normal' tournaments at both Valhalla's and Attactix that weekend. Both events will be D-rank Mission format, and I might see what we can do to benefit charity in some way.

Cheers,
-Matt

Talked to the Meijin at Dalez (Dwayne?), who said that they did submit an application back in March for the first round of events.

He is now contacting Bandai to see what happened, and why their app is not on file.

Assuming that Dalez does want to host, then neither I nor Valhalla's have issues with letting them have it.

Cheers,
-Matt

I'm pushing back the tournaments at Underground to 6 PM so people can get off work and get there. I hope people will make a schlep to come to tournaments, I'm trying to make it as accomodating as possible on Fridays...If there's anything else I can do to get y'all in there, let me know, I'll do the best I can.

Remember, there is a Genin this Friday. I'll have plenty of promos n' stuff to hand out, and quite a few mats left over from past weeks. C'mon, all we need is 4 to sanction, easy Genin win for anyone, and a mat.

::sigh::
If I didn't have to work at 6 pm, I'd be down there in a heartbeat. But, as it is, I am stuck with the work schedule until they make something better available. Sorry.

Cheers,
-Matt

I'm back!

<.<
>.>
Howdy there again everyone. Forgot my old handle so I had to create a new one... >.<'
Nice to see you're still on top of things, Matt. And I see the Naruto CCG activity has picked up quite a bit since I've been gone for several months. And now that I'm back to playing.... I should be around for lots of tournaments / free play / etc. I'm very much looking forward to play-testing my new decks. ^.^

Can anyone give me a quick rundown on what the schedules are for the events in Colorado? I noticed that GaiOkashiiNingen is running events at Underground Games on Fridays at 6pm. And I stopped by Attactix the other day to see if anything was goin on to find out that Matt's holding events there on every other Sunday at 3pm. What are the days/times for Valhalla's and Dale'z?

Well, good to see the action has picked up for Colorado. See ya'll around.

Ohhh.... btw.... Where exactly is Underground Games? O.o? If someone could post an address... I can find it no problem.
