Colorado Organized Play Thread

=( Underground Games didn't get their stock in...I don't wanna pay the upcharge that Valhalla's does on their boxes, either...Boo. Online it is.

I will start up tournaments in the first weekend of June at Underground games. I will probably do 0 entry fee to start with some packs and such as prizes to get things moving and shaking. I'll put it on the schedule dealie either Sunday or Monday and get all the details ironed out.

Hopefully we'll get some people there and get some people in there, it's a cool little store, Chad, the guy who runs it is a nice guy. Space is a little small but workable, a few more tables will fix that.

If there's any questions about the place or the tournaments starting up there, let me know. We'll get another place rolling for Naruto tournaments and get some activity going in Colorado, make Chuunin and Jounin a little more interesting!

I've got 2 that I've picked up at separate Targets around the area. The pulls from the packs haven't been much to speak of, but the discount price and the platinum AOC certainly help make up for it.

Yeah same thing on the pulls for me and Jeff. I've bought about 6 or 7 of those 3 pack sets total and gotten one super. It was the Individual Play Sasuke...and I had 2 others already. Talk about getting jipped on a super, huh? Jeff has had better luck, pulling a Fox, Disaster and the Coils version of the Third from the same amount of packs.

Other than that, did pretty bad at the tourney, but cleaned up on the supers I wanted though. Pulled a Kisame (Which someone offered me a Chidori for, and I accepted) and an Amaratsu, which I gave to Joe in return for his Breakdown of Negotiations Tsunade. Both of which I dropped in my deck. Jow is trying to make an Itachi deck featuring Freedori. Combine that with the APW Hokages and ES Kakashis he has, and we may not be looking forward to going against him anytime soon.

Oh well...I've started to collect stuff for a Rasengan deck to prepare for the next set. I can only hop it stands to Freedori.

Naruto events are returning to Attactix, now on Sundays after Yu-Gi-Oh!

Starting in June, we will be running events on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, starting at 3 o'clock.

Standard entry fee of $5.00 applies. (Note- this fee is optional, and players can still play even if they don't want to pay. Those players simply won't receive packs in their prizes at the end.)

Prizes will include multiple mats, packs, and promos.

Underground Games is now open for tournaments!

The first tournament is on June 1st, and the cost for it is zero. This is to get people into the store and used to everything. As soon as prizes are determined, I'll post that too.

Every tournament after this will be $5.00, and a Casual Play every once in awhile with new rule sets I'll be working on.

I'm holding another tournament this Friday again, since no one showed last week. I'm also doing a Genin in a week and a half on Friday, June 15th.

I'll hold tournaments on alternating weeks there aren't ones at Valhalla's if that will work a bit better. If I could get people into a tournament at least once a month, that would be great.

If Fridays don't work at 4 or 5, let me know as well, I'll see what I can work out.

So it looks like there will be another Chunin at Vahallas soon. Thats GREAT!! (No Looooooong drive to the springs... [not that its not fun there, but at $3.00+ a gallon... Nope]).

Any info on "around" when you will hold it Matt??




P.S. I want to go to underground but work restraints are in affect... Looks like I will be taking a week off naruto cause Work > Naruto (Unfortuantely).. Ill see what I can do next week.

Are you looking at that "Ben Con" thing? I don't think that's the Chuunin XD

Yeah I know how that is...It's hard to find a place that's not taken up on a decent tournament day and I'm not working...Right now Fridays are it. Boss won't give me any regular off day on Saturday unfortunately...cursed Sears...if I get one open, I'm going to dive for it and have a tournament then. Saturdays would obstruct other tournaments though, and I'd rather have as much as possible at any one tournament than having to compete for people.

Oh well, as long as people start showing up every once in a while to Underground to play a few games/trade, I'll be happy. At least stop by to get a promo or something. I dunno how many have made it to Underground before, but it's a relaxed little store, trying to get into some games and get tournaments going. They already do UFS tournament/League, along with Spoils.

Im looking on the naruto home page. It says Chunin locations selected... thats pretty clear cut.

Wow, this is the first I've heard (yay for not notifying the Meijin), but it looks legit enough.

I gotta say I'm seriously surprised by this. Given everything we've been told about Bandai about rotating the venues, I was certain Dalez would host the next one.

The only explanation I can think of is that maybe Dalez didn't submit an application, or that it was rejected for some reason. Give a couple of days, and I will try to see if I can get this straightened out.
