I get the cards in digital format in a file. I gotta have the cards on file for various reasons and I need to have knowledge of all the cards.

Hehe, no. I have a confidentiality agreement signed with Bandai, could get in trouble if I started just giving these things out.

Going to have to wait till you can buy the cards.

Please, if you have the file, and since I know you've been dealing with bad wordings with GWar having quite a few hitches in it's opening and all, tell me the cards are worded with less failings than before.

Also: Hooray for fasttracking games!

Small?! You really think so? I guess Yu-Gi-Oh! is an outlier when it comes to TCGs, then? Until the US sets were synched with the Japanese ones in that game, we had about 120 cards per set, since they were composed of two Japanese sets. Now they are all about 60 cards per set.

I have to say, I prefer "small" sets like this much more than whatever else other games have. It makes it easier to recognize all the cards.

I hope that this game is consistent with the Japanese version, except of course for the fact that our first set is the Japanese's first two sets (or at least I hope it's fact).

Later expansions will add Client cards. Several mechanics in the game also will not be in the introductory set like "growth" cards.
Is that consistent with the Japanese game?

What's "fasttracking"?

Means that our releases come in larger set sizes than normal, trying to bring us in line with the Japanese meta.

Or, my assumption could be off, and the releases are only bundled as such to provide a larger set to pull from.

I see. So it could be that they are just releasing larger sets at a slower rate, or they could be trying to catch up with Japan, like UDE did with Yu-Gi-Oh!

In any case, I think it's a good thing, but I would hope for the latter to be the real reason for it.

Depends on the game really. Majority of card games really normally use larger sized sets of close to 200 cars per set. Yu-Gi-Oh is a different game, and has always used the smaller set sizes, though the churn out new expansions pretty fast as well.

It's a computer file with all the cards in it. I'm supposed to have this so I have access to all the cards so I can be prepped for game release and for making rulings on card questions. They do this for all Bandai games and those who mod their boards.
