Diagnosis: you have what is called in these parts, SOS... which is shorthand for; Shiney Object Syndrom.

How can you tell if you too suffer from SOS?
things to look out for:
Does a shiney object distract you from a deep conversation? if yes, your already too far down the path for any help.

Do you sit and stare for hours at a foil card just to see how the foil can reflect at different angles? see above...

I love the idea of parrallellell (bad spelling) foils. It allows you to collect a whole set of foils if you want to. Its challenging, but helps your self worth when you go around with an all foil deck.

I do the same thing in magic some times. I got the SOS bad.
