The Hyuuga Head in Training

Who do you think is the new head in training? It was never told if it were either Hinata or Hanabi, but in my oppinion, if Hiashi were to alter the rules, he could take Neji as the head in training, that would be cool! But.. who do you think it is?

I vote Neji, but I don't think it would happen.... it would take the Kage to change a clan rule that has been used as long as this one has, but hopefully if Naruto becomes Hokage he'll change the clan like he promised.

my vote is for neji also. he has the talent and his uncle seems to have taken a liking to him. but we're forgeting about the sleeper, Hinata has alot of potential as well.

Since Hanabi defeated her older sister, Hinata has been basically considered a throw away. All the training passed down from the old man has been to Hanabi, so I think she's it.

and when did this take place?

It's alluded to during flashbacks at the prelims, and then hinted at again during the finals when you see the old man and Hanabi in the stands watching Neji's fight.

Hanabi is being groomed for successorship.

true, but it wasn't confirmed. It's most likely Hanabi, but it's a comeback alright if HInata does. But with the timeshift, she only made a small appearance, and 2 1/2 years changes a person. She could be the heiress right now and not Hanabi. She could've defeated Hanabi, and be the heiress now.

true, but it's possible Hinata knows those techniques. Remember Shugohakke? It's a combination of 64 hands of hakke and Hakkeshou Kaiten. If she maintains that, she can possibly do it for 120 hands of hakke, and 361 hands of hakke.

wait.. how's it hinted? The head may have an Heir to the thrown, but Neji is the prodigy, AKA genius of the Hyuuga clan. Hiashi probably knew of Neji's talent, and took her for observation. But then again... that does hint it, eheh ^-^'
