Lol I have to agree. At first I was happy to take a break from the story, and see more characters like Kiba and Neji on missions....But now I can't wait for the story to continue.

I heard they were suppose to last until August, though that's just a rumor so I couldn't confirm that in any way.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I wouldn't mind the fillers if they were just a bigger arc of a more detailed story. All these little one episode or two episode adventures begin to wear you down on the story. Making it feel more of a 'monster' of the week type of deal. Maybe its me, but probably not, I'm sure others feel that as well. What would be amazing and off the wall is if they actually left Naruoto out of a couple episodes and focused on some of the team by themselves and how they interacted together. That would peak my interest again.

The Rumor I heard said they were going till october.
I'm a little worried because I think they only have enough manga story line to make 20-something episodes despite how many chapters there has been.
Let's just hope they find a way to stall the unfolding of the story in the anime after the fillers or else they'll have to do more of them a year or so after stopping them, and next time they'll probably be a lot more out of place than they are now.
