;_; Any love for the Coloradoans?
Anyone actually in Colorado and thinking of playing? I'd love to start this game up with someone.

Yo. I'm looking at promoting the game, and maybe getting some events going.
Locations I'm looking at currently are Attactix, and perhaps Valhalla's. Let me know if there are any other stores you think might be a good place to drum up interest. -Matt |

I've played at Valhalla's and Sports Cards Etc. when it was around...but I suggest Collectormania as well. I demoed Re-Z up there and the guy's really cool about it.

As a long time Star Wars and Lord of the Rings player, I'm well aware of Collectormania (Tim and I go way back).
I agree that it is a good place to build a Naruto community, as Parker kids tend to have a little more disposable income than most, it is simply a little too far for me to drive. Its the same reason I don't go down to Littleton or up to Longmont much anymore. 30-40 miles each way is just a tad too espensive on a regular basis. ![]() Other locales I have been considering are the 2 major anime stores in Aurora, Buy Me Anime and Gimme Anime. They supported .Hack while it was fairly popular, perhaps they'll be interested in running some events as well. -Matt |

I live in Littleton, so that's no big deal for me, and I have no problems with driving to Collectormania for events. I did it all the time for Z.
I've only been to a few stores in Aurora...There used to be a Mile High Comics off of Wadsworth that used to hold events, however they either moved or shut down. It sounds like we could get this game going, though. I can be most active after May since I'm out for the summer. It'll be great getting back into a card game again. |

You're probably thinking of the Mile Hi at Wadworth and 1st. Yeah, they closed doors roughly 2 months ago. Mile Hi, while it has great visibility, is kind of limited in its capability and dedication for running card games.
If you are thinking of trying to get things going in Littleton, you might try the stores down near Columbine. As you're probably aware, there are 3 different stores in the area that run semi-consistent card games; Collector's Outpost, The Forge, and Aamazing Fantasy Comics. Also, I will be doing Naruto demos, and a constructed tournament at Ben Con in June, for which I am the CCG Coordinator. I would love to see a strong showing for the con, because it would probably be the best place to introduce the game to a wide array of players. Cheers, -Matt |

I haven't been to those three, I'll look them up and make a trip to them more towards the release date. I have no problem running demos for them if they need.
If you're showing up at Ben Con, I may stop by for it, then. I'll be sure in May to make frequent stops at the card shops to pull support for going to Ben Con. Hope to see you there. -GON |

I think I'll have a bounty put on my head if I don't go. (I AM the CCG Coordinator, after all.
)As for the stores, they form a triangle between Coal Mine, Pierce and Wadsworth. Collector's Outpost is at Coal Mine & Pierce (SE corner of King Soopers shopping center), Aamazing Fatasy Comics is about a mile south of them at Ken Caryl & Pierce (NE corner), and The Forge is on the SE corner of Coal Mine and Wadsworth (just down from the 7-11) Look forward to seeing you, -Matt Last edited by Packrat_matt : 03-27-2006 at 04:15 PM. |
