Naruto FBH (Future Battle Horizions)

Episode 01: A New Hope! LEAF is formed! Foreword: It has been three years since the fall of Akatsuki, though the scars still remain. The hidden village of Konoha has changed drastically since the great war. It’s borders, unstable with the new developments and seizure of the Hidden Sound Village. It’s relations with neighboring countries is fragile at best, although it still has one true ally, the Sand Country. Many ninja sacrificed their lives in protecting Konoha, close friends who had grown up together since the academy now departed. In a joint effort between Konoha and the Sand Country, they had successfully killed several key members of Akatsuki, although few still remain at large. One such threat, Uchiha Itachi, who had thought to be killed by Uchiha Sauske, had somehow survived and his whereabouts are still unknown. As far is Uchiha Sauske is concerned, he still resides in the Medical Bay in a comatose-like state. It is uncertain if his coma is due to a high level Genjutsu or Paralysis-technique. The Hidden Sound Village fell shortly after the death of it’s leader Orochimaru. During the great war, Orochimaru had swapped bodies with the weakened Naruto after the attempted Kyubi extraction. Shortly after entering Naruto’s body, during the fight with Might Guy, the Kyubi Nine-Tail Fox re-awakened only to devour Orochimaru’s existence. Although this awakening also killed Might Guy in the process and shaking Naruto’s consciousness back into control. We now start over in a new chapter where unexpected allies unite, a new evil surfaces, and a new division established. Welcome to Naruto: Future Battle Horizons! Tsunade-Sama: I have asked you seven Jounin here today for a special reason. As you know the tensions with the Lightning Country are at a climax. We have received reports from Inuzuka Kiba’s scout squad that they are beginning to mobilize an assault unit. As you may know, the new Kage continues to blame the Fire Country for the Great War, and depends we pay for damages and causalities. We have refused, and now they plan to take action. Sakura, if you would please… Sakura: Right! Uzumaki Naruto, Rock Lee, Hyuga Neji, Hatake Kakashi, Nara Shikamaru, Yamankaka Ino, and Konohamru. You have been selected out of the special Jounin division to become the first members of the new division LEAF. Naruto: LEAF? I don’t get it… Konohamru: What a lame name, did you come up with that all by yourself Grandma? Or was it the ugly girl standing next to you. Either way, I could never join something that sounds so stupid. Sakura’s face begins to turn a shade of cherry, she quickly performs a seal constricting Konohamru’s arms and legs and leaving him unable to speak. Naruto begins to laugh, but Sakura quickly glares at him, shutting him up almost instantly. Sakura: As I was saying, LEAF or Lead Encounter Attack Force, is our first line of defense against other countries. Your primary mission is to secure the border and to neutralize any hostile ninja. Also, you will receive any S-Class missions ANBU are unable to accept. Is this clear? Each ninja shake their head in understanding. Kakashi: If I may, Hokage-Sama… Tsunade-Sama: No, these are your orders. You have twenty-four hours to prepare. Shikamaru has point, he will be discussing the tactics and targets. Dismissed. The seven ninja quickly exit the building and make their way out into the town square. Lee: Guy-Sensei, I wish you were here for this. I have finally made it, all thanks to you! Please watch over me… Neji: Hey, Naruto! You better go tell Hinita the news, if you leave without saying anything again she’s going to kill you. I don’t indent on taking the blame this time. Naruto: Oh yeah…well um, you know how she gets about these types of missions ever since the war. *whispers* Shes scary now… Shikamaru: *Sigh* This could prove to be troublesome. We will meet at the town gates tomorrow at 7:00 am sharp. Please be sure to plan accordingly, also here is a copy of the mission briefing and assignment. Study the geological structure as well as any near by villages and economic history. That is all. All seven ninja walk away to their corresponding homes, some with excitement on their face, others deep in thought. Konohamru: This will be the perfect time to show Naruto my new technique, look forward to it! Next Chapter: The Hunt for Lightning! Konohamru’s new technique! *Note: Any feedback is always welcome. I know this storyline back shock most of you, but I feel it will also be very entertaining and full of supprises. I plan on making this a weekly post so stay tuned!*

Ok so I lied ;)
Episode 02: The Hunt for Lightning! Konohamru’s new technique!
An alarm clock sounds, only to be struck with a kunai moments afterward. Konohamru leans up out of his bed and stretches. He lets out a great yawn and then falls back asleep. A few moments pass and the alarm clock sounds once more, this time Konohamru quickly jumps out of bed, grabs his outfit off his dresser, and dashes out to meet the others. Konohamru: Yesssah! I cant wait to show Naruto once and for all that I’m going to be the next Hokage. He will be begging me for help after he witnesses my new technique! The other seven Ninja quickly gather by the Village entrance gates. First Shikamaru, followed by Neji, Ino, and Lee. Finally Naruto and Konohamru. Naruto scratches his head and counts. Naruto: Kaki-Sensei? A white puff of smoke appears behind Naruto, followed by the silhouette of Kakashi. Kakashi: Yo! Shikamaru: Sheesh, always a show off. *Ahem* We will depart from here to our first way point just outside of Loki village (what was on the out skirts of the Hidden Sound Village). We will be single-file, Neji leading first, followed by myself and Ino, then Lee and Naruto, with Konohamru and Kakashi in the rear. Once we reach Loki Village, we will wait for Kiba’s scout report on the best suitable terrain. Lets go! The seven ninja quickly dash out of the gates and into the forest tree-tops. A little more than an hour passes before they reach their waypoint outside of Loki Village. The village was quite small, no more than ten buildings, and not very well maintained. It was easy to see that the village had been set ablaze not too long ago, from the smoke burns on the rooftops. The crop fields were small, but seemed to be doing well, with few farmers hard at work. Shikamaru: Hold! According to Tsunade-Sama’s report, there are small scattered groups from the Cloud Country just beyond the next ravine. A loud roar could be heard as it echoed throughout the forest. A giant figure quickly jumped from one tree to the next and approached the group with unimaginable speed. Naruto: ….Huh? Uh…Guys… Konohamru: Bring it! Shikamaru: *Sighs* Hold your position, don’t get so hasty. A giant figure quickly appears before them, its fur long and on end. It’s fangs at least a foot long apiece. It lets out a large roar and then drops its front paws. A large puff of smoke engulfs the giant beast, and the figure of a man steps forth. Akamaru: Long time no see. Your all in tact I hope? Naruto: Akamaru! You look just like Kiba! Akamaru: “Henge Jujin no Jutsu “(Beast-Human Transformation). It allows me to completely duplicate Kiba, thus allowing me to communicate with you. Naruto quickly nods up and down, clearly still confused. Naruto: Uh huh, I see, I see. Kakashi: I guess no matter how much he improves, he still can’t understand the simple things. *Sigh* Shikamaru: Anyways, what is your findings Akamaru? Akamaru: Two shinobi groups, one three miles north-west of here. The other, north-east, two miles and closing. Each group has three members, two Chunnin’s and one Jounin. Shikamaru: I see. Ino, Neji, Myself, and Lee will pursue the north-west group. Kakashi, Naruto, and Konohamru will pursue the north-east. Eliminate the threat immediately and then report back to this way -point for further instruction. Konohamru: Yesssah! I’m in Naruto’s group, perfect! The seven ninja quickly separate into their groups and dash towards their selected targets. A few moments later, Kakashi’s group locates its target group. Kakashi holds his hand up, signaling the others to halt. Naruto: Alright Kon, lets do this! Konohamru: Actually, I’ll be more than enough for these three. Just watch! Kakashi: Oh? Naruto folds his arms and ****s a brow. Naruto: Fine then, have at it. Konohamru: With pleasure! The three ninja’s from the Cloud Country quickly stop, noticing the presence of the others. The two Chunnin look to be in their late teens, while the Jounin looks to be much older. He has scars covering his face, and a weird whip-like weapons around his waste. Konohamru quickly dashes behind the group and performs a few seals. The three Cloud Ninja quickly turn around. Naruto: No good, they’ve spotted him! Kakashi: Wait… Konohamru: “Enkoo no Mai” (Dance of the Monkey King) Konohamru’s arms quickly stretch out, grabbing the two Chunnin’s heads and thrusting them back into a tree. The Cloud Jounin quickly unfastens his whip, blades appearing on both sides. He begins to swing the whip in a circular rotation and a faint glow begins to radiant from it. Cloud Jounin: Whip of the Fang! The Cloud Jounin’s whip expands, breaking into several parts and launches at Konohamru. Naruto: Kon! Kakashi: This is no good, he wont be able to dodge… Konohamru smirks. You ready for this Naruto? Konohamru: “Konoha Sensha no Mai” (Dance of the Leaf Juggernaut). A sharp crack followed by a scream could barley be heard through the strong gust of wind. Blood leafs scattered, circled around Konohamru. The Cloud Jounin lay lifeless on the forest floor, his body torn to shreds where the leafs had cut him. Konohamru thrust his hand forward towards the two unconscious Chunnin. The spiral whirlwind of bloody leaves vanished from Konohamru, and quickly shredded the two Chunnin’s bodies, along with the trees they were leaning on. No sound could be heard, no scream, only the rustle of leaves. Naurto’s eyes began to shake at the sight of the amass amounts of blood covering the forest. Naruto: Kon, when did you learn such a horrible technique? Kakashi: That technique, it’s an Assassination Jutsu. It’s speed is unlike anything I have ever seen. What’s even stranger is the fact that my Sharingan couldn’t detect it. Could it be a bloodline Jutsu? Kakashi: Nice job Konohamru. Lets move, we must go meet the others. Kakashi and the others quickly dash away, jumping from tree-top to tree-top south towards the way-point. Konohamru: So Naruto, what did ya think? Pretty cool huh? Looks like I’m one step closer to becoming Hokage! Naruto:….hmm…yeah Kon. That Jutsu, where did you learn it? Konohamru: From a scroll Grandpa left me. It taut me how control the leaves using my Chakra. Naruto: I see, so old man Hokage really did have some scary Jutsu’s. A sly grin comes over Naruto’s face. Naruto: Although, that technique will never work on me! Konohamru: *laughing* I thought you might say that, dumb idiot! Shikamaru and the others finally locate the other group and plan for their attack. Although something seems to be wrong, Neji’s Byakugan cannot detect any Chakra from either of the three. lol, which picture? The header or the mental image of Konohamru's attack?
I also noticed that I'm able to write full length chapters within 3 days or so, so I'm considering making this a Bi-Weekly release, heck maybe even some weeks a Tri-Weekly release. Also, any ideas or input is always welcome. I'm not just writing for my own personal enjoyment, but for those of you who take the time to read it as well! Thanks and Enjoy! ~Rival
