What I am disappointed with is the lack of blood. I just saw last night's episode and was severely disappointed when, well, some random Ninja died and the blood was BLACK. Lame.

Uchiha Sasuke just doesn't seem right. If my name was "Bob Smith" I don't want people calling me "Smith Bob". It's just the American thing.

Most people watch the show on Cartoon Network because that's all we have (unless you count reading spoilers online).
Comon, you gotta be kidding me right? I can understand if you only heard it one way and therefore are used it that way, but you can't argue that one is better than the other if you've never tried or heard it. What ever happened to being open minded?

BTW, IIRC its called Chidori because of the sound it makes. It sounds like chirping birds. Now tell me that isn't cool

okay you really got to be kidding me here right? First of all, yes you wouldn't understand it the first time. But Shadow Clone Jutsu (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) is Naruto's bread and butter. That's the first thing he does (you'd think its the only one he knows) that after a few times you would get it. I may not know what rain is in another language but after hearing it everytime it rains, i'm pretty sure I can put it together.

It just not as simple as "hey it's an American thing." Uchiha Sasuke doesn't seem right because you have only heard it as Sasuke Uchiha. That's fine if you don't like it or have a preference for one way since you are used to it. But that doesn't make it a valid argument, nor can you just say its american and be done with it. If that is the case, then let me point out how ramen isn't really eaten here in America. Hell, American's dont really eat pork. And miso? forget about it. Hell we should just change the Ramen shop to a hamburger stand because we dont' have that many ramen places around here. That doesn't make sense right?

We don't call you Smith, Bob because in this culture, we say the first name first. But Naruto takes place in japan there are going to be alot of things that don't really translate culturally here. That's fine, but I don't think some things needed to be changed.

The name for one, I think could have been left the same, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Again, i'll point to L5R, there has been no problems with that.

The jutsu, I can see some argument. Especially for some that are harder. I don't expect Kage mane no jutsu or Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, but please please please please pelase don't change Rasengan...

As the whol InoShikaCho would make no sense if they changed their name.

And translating Naruto's name to "Swirly Fishcake" (which is a pretty close translation for Uzumaki Naruto) would just not sell.

well they would'nt change Naruto's name one way or another.
Main Characters almost always keep their names like in yu-gi-oh Yugi was one of the few characters that did'nt get a name change for the english version.

Off Topic: In Yu-Gi-oh! GX, Yuki Judai was made Jaden Yuki. So nothing is sacred.

I perfer it the Nihongo way, but I don't want to confuse the 6 year old I'm playing against in some tourny with Uchiha Sasuke and Ransengan...you know? It happens to most anime.
