Translations: Japanese Set #4 Ninjas. (Will be in American Set #2)
Alright here are Japanese Set #4 Ninjas. These should be in American Set #2 as well. Enjoy.
Note: Im not a native speaker of japanese so some translations may be wrong. Note #2: In japan Ninja cards 61 to 66 were "Start Deck Promos". Im not sure how that will work out in the US release. (Due to getting this from the carddas site, the info is very incomplete, i need to view the card images to pull off some more useful info) Ninja - 61 Name: Naruto Uzumaki Effect: [Showing Worth in a Predicament] When this ninja`s team is blocked, this gets +2/+0 until the end of turn Ninja - 62 Name: Sasuke Uchiha Effect: [Ability Guess] Valid: During the turn, when this card is in-combat with a team of "Genin", this card gains +1/+0, when this card is in-combat with a team of "Jounin" and above, this card, during the turn, gains -1/+0. Ninja - 63 Name: Iruka Effect: [Reward] When this comes into play, you may "heal" one ninja you control. Ninja - 64 Name: Kakashi Hatake Effect: [Early Conclusion] When the team this is on gets a victory or outstanding victory, take 1 extra battle reward. When this team is defeated or outstanding defete, your opponent gets an extra battle reward. Ninja - 65 Name: Moegi Effect: [Report Card] When this comes into play, look at the top card of your deck. Thanks for the translations. Alot of the new Ninja's seem interesting, for lack of a better word. I would have to say that they will definatly be adding alot more of a new type of diversity to a lot of decks currently being run, with effects like Karasu, Orochimaru (though I am currently finding it hard to see how he could possibly be all that useful), and others. Will definatly be interesting once we see what the jutsu's have to offer.

Nice Translations....but i noticed a few Minor translation errors...

Can I ask, since you say you're not a native speaker, and always preface with "Some translations may be wrong", do you study/have you studied Japanese? And do you use some sort of prog for anything you may not completely understand/can't translate? And Thanks Pokekid for the revisions... Kintaro |

Oorochimaru = anti-decking. Also, the effect is pretty good. In Duel Masters there is a creature card called "Pyrofighter Magnus". For 3-Mana you can play this 3000 Attack creature that can attack on the same turn. Know what the best thing about this card is? It returns to your hand at the end of your turn, meaning that your opponent will have a REALLY hard time getting rid of it. I just considered it a Spell that just destroyed one of your opponent's Shields. ^_^
Oorochimaru is basically a guaranteed battle reward, maybe even two. Who can block a 6/4 on their fourth turn? Honestly? I mean, yes, one Oorochimaru vs. a team of 3 Ninja would be crazy, but imagine him against a 1 or 2 Ninja team. Your opponent will HAVE to waste a Jutsu on this beast. And he doesn't stop there--he's also VERY effective when used as back-up; in fact, he might even be best used this way as a +4 is pretty good. Example: Shikamaru Nara (0/2), Sasuke Uchiha (3/1), and Oorichimaru (6/4). With Oorichimaru as the Head Ninja that's 9 Combat; as support that's 9 as well. See what I mean? Beasty. Of course, the beast is Water, so stuff like Haku, Demon Brothers, and Zabuza will fit right in. Gosh, can you imagine a team of Zabuza (5/2), Haku (4/3), and Oorochimaru (6/4)? That's 12 Combat. TWELVE. And that's without Jutsus. ;x Then that lone Naruto plays Harem Jutsu and you cry.. lol |
