GenCon SoCal

Hey how many people are planning on being at GenCon SoCal? I know i will be there and hopefully Naruto will be in full swing and able to hold a few tourney's. I'll also be there to play in the Legend of the Five Rings tourney's too.

P.S.

Anyone from the company i am willing to make time to help out at Gencon SoCal or Indy to help run demo's if needed (yes i know it's early but soo many company's do Gencon plans too late especially when it's a new game. See Cyberpunk CCG)

Man! why do all these gaming cons take place when I just have no ability to go When it gets closer to the date I might think about going. I'd have to skip a few days of class to do so though...

I guess I'll check greyhound ticket prices now.

Last year Gencon Indy, there really wasn't much OP at all as the program had started about a month before and the amount of GO's was fairly small. Since then generally Bandai has been seeking out volunteers directly with their Meijin by contacting them.

I was at Megacon 06 couple weeks ago for Bandai, and I will be at Gencon Indy this year doing Gundam War.

Kyle i figured they would but thought i would put it out there.... mainly i kinda wanted to see who all was going, I have went to the last 2 Gencon SoCal's and i was alittle dissapointed but when i get tired of it i can go across the street and goto disneyland. I've been to Indy but you can only do soo much gaming before you want to go crazy. I think SoCal has at least Disneyland to change things up. But i will be spending most of my time at gencon. I hope they make it 4 days this year and not 3 days like last year.

SIDENOTE: Volunteering is at your leisure, right? You can literally just walk up and volunteer for like two hours, correct?

You can volunteer to help run demos, just hang out and show the game off to people as they come by. Lot of folks do this at the con. Running events is generally already taken care of by Bandai employees or Meijin who volunteered already.

I doubt I will be involved in Naruto at the con though, I should be with Gundam War and Judging those tournaments.
