Retail Store attempting to order product.. can anyone help?

We're Hammergirl Anime in Rochester, NY, and we are looking to order cases of Naruto CCG starters and boosters.

Unfortunately, every attempt to contact Bandai regarding ordering has gotten us nowhere - no return emails, no returned phone calls, no webform replies, nothing more than form replies.

What can we do? We want to order directly from the company, and we've gotten nowhere.

You can't order direct from Bandai, you need to find a wholesale game/card distributor that stocks the product.

No, that is the point - we buy in distributor numbers. Every other card came we stock, we buy directly from the releasing company, but getting a hold of Bandai is impossible.

Is there any mod or the like that can get us in contact with someone?

the booster boxes are sold out. they are in the process of trying to get more to the established accounts that they currently have by pulling the product that was going to ship to the big retailers in 2 months and repackaging it for hobby stores. starters are still available and should ship next week . no reprints are scheduled until after the first expansion at the end of june. this has been confirmed in another thread in this forum by bandai. if i had to put money on it, i dont think you will be getting any of the path of hokage product from bandai and will probably have to go through another distributer..

Exactly. Bandai doesn't sell their cards directly to stores. They only sell their cards to distributors, and then stores can buy those cards from distributors, so you have to find a distributor that carries the Naruto cards.

That is not necessarily true - they just sell in such large amounts that most stores don't buy them. We aren't 'most stores'.

That being said, it is quite a shame that Bandai hasn't TOLD us this yet. We've left messages, sent emails, used webforms, everything, and Bandai is telling us nothing. Considering we sell hundreds of their DVDs and soon-to-be boxes of their cards every month, they could at least, you know, reply.

That being said - are their any Moderators that can get us in touch with a "real live person" at Bandai?

With high demand for the cards and low availability of the cards, it's highly unlikely that bandai will want to sell direct to any store. For one it breaks distributor trust when Bandai starts selling to any place that once it, bandai works hard as many companies do to set up proper distribution networks and get these companies to carry there product. Selling direct doesn't help at all.

Also selling direct to a store, even if in large quantities does not help Bandai as it's all going to one source, whereas a distributor will actually get the product spread to a larger scope of stores. There taking product that was headed to big name stores like Walmart and Target and redirecting it to distributors, who have amounted quite a big list of back orders already, I'm sorry but even if you are a retailer who buys alot, Bandai has its priorities to it's actual business partners who get the cards out there for them.

Been in business myself for a long time and our family also runs a wholesale distribution firm, sorry but lot of big companies will just flat out not sell to a person, no matter how much money you flaunt in front of them.

Going to have to place an order with a game/card distributor for product.
