Training at the Sora-Gakure (SE)

The wonderful sequal to my other fanfic has arrived! Well, it already arrived a while ago, but that's beside the point. The first few chapters are just revamped versions of the originals, but starting like chapter 5, the stuff is all new.

Chapter 1

Neji stopped on a long branch of a tree. It had been a few weeks since he had began his first journey from this exact spot. "We are almost there." He called back to his companions.

"Really?" Tenten replied, landing beside him. "Finally."

Neji could not remember how he made it to the village in two days, but it had taken them three days already, and they didn't want to fall behind schedule.

"Neji-san, I challenge you." Lee said from behind. "The first to one to reach the village is the winner, and if I win, you will acknowledge me as your rival."

"Uhh...no." Neji said. "How are we supposed to progress with that block of lead slowing us down?" Pointing at Uzumaki Naruto on the ground.

"Good point." Lee said in agreement. "We can't leave those two behind, what if disaster strikes?"

"Hey, I'm more than capable of taking care of myself." Tenten butted in.

"And besides," Neji added. "You have no idea where the village is..."

Lee realized what Neji said was true and hung his head over in depression. "Defeated again. Without a fight."

"I am here, I am here, I am here!" The most unpredictable ninja said. Naruto had finally waken up. He laughed confidently as he readjusted his Konoha headband.

"Like we needed to know..." Tenten said. "Geez, why did you ask for him to come along anyway?" She complained to Neji, waving her arms around wildly.

"I see nothing wrong with it." Hinata said softly, looking down as she poked her fingers together.

Neji sighed without responding and jumped ahead to the next tree. "Come on already, we are behind as is."

"Hai!" The other four said, jumping after Neji who was already proceeding to the next branch.

The groups mission was to help with the Ninja School while they were short of advisors. Neji, Tenten, Lee, Hinata, and, by Neji's request, Naruto were on their way the the Sora-Gakure, Konoha's newest ally.

The forest was beginning to thin and Neji gave the signal to move on the ground. It was getting hot as the sun positioned itself in the center of the sky and many of Konoha ninjas were wiping the beads of sweat that were forming on their foreheads.

"Geez, Naruto, Hinata, how can you stand the heat?" Tenten asked as she moved into the shade of the tree. "Both of you wear those jackets all the time. Isn't it hot?"

"Well, now that you mention it." Naruto began.

"It is quite hot." Hinata finished. Her face was red from the heat. Her eyes blurred as she fainted.

"Hinata!" Naruto said as he caught her, dragging her under a the same tree as Tenten. "She fainted."

Tenten sighed heavily. "Looks like we have to stop again." Neji acknowledged silently and Lee sat down at the base of another tree.

"Geez those two..." Lee said.

Tenten gave the fan to Naruto and took of Hinata's beige jacket. "Fan her, Naruto, and get rid of that jacket, and get some water for Hinata!"

"Dammit, I can't do a thousand things at once, you know?" Naruto complained, fanning with one hand as he unzipped his bright orange jacket.

"Having problems?" A voice said.

"Wha-?" The group said, looking in the direction of the voice.

There stood three figures, one whom Neji recognized as Meizora Kennichi. The other two, a boy and a girl were as unknown to him as they were to the rest of the Konoha ninja's.

End of Chapter 1

I can't believe it's finally here... Yay! Well now, at least I don't know the ending of this one...

What's a Sora?

Sorry, not up to speed on Japanese. -_-

Sora is "sky", so it would be Hidden Sky Village. The village that Sorano is from. I might of mentioned it once in the other story.

Chapter 2

"Having Problems?" Kennichi asked. "You seem to be, Neji."

"Good Afternoon, Kennichi-san." Neji bowed respectfully. "Allow me to introduce my companions." His hand extended towards Lee. "Him in the green training suit is Rock Lee."

"Osu!" Lee said with a salute.

"In the pink is Tenten."

"Nice to meet ya!" She winked.

"The fainted girl on the ground is my sibling, Hinata."

"Hey, hey! What about me? Aren'cha gonna introduce me Neji?" Naruto interrupted, pointing at himself anxiously.

"Heh.. That loud and obnoxious person is Uzumaki Naruto."

"Hehehe, Nice to meet you." Naruto smiled as he adjusted his forehead protector.

"Naruto, keep fanning Hinata! She is overheated you know!" Tenten yelled across from the shade of another tree.

"Right, right, I'm on it." Naruto began fanning again, pausing only to pull out a canister of water from his jacket.

"Allow me to introduce my counterparts." Kennichi began. He motioned towards the boy ninja. "This guy is Kataoka Yuzuru."

"Sup?" The boy said, as he raised his hand in a wave.

"The girl is Yoriko Suware."

"Nice to meet you!" She greeted all of them kindly.

"Huh?" Hinata murmured as she awoke. Naruto noticed and moved his head close to her's and smiled stupidly.

"O-ha-yoo! Hinata!" Naruto said slowly.

Naruto is this close to me? Hinata thought. Her faced blushed, this time with embarassment and she fainted again.

"Hinata?"

"Naruto you idiot!" Tenten said as she jumped to kick him.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Naruto screamed in terror.

*BAM!*
Tenten kicked Naruto out of the shade into another tree.

"Go-me-na-sai...i" Naruto barely uttured.

Irritated, Tenten picked up her fan and began to cool off Hinata. "Why did we bring him?" She said under her breath.

"Problems?" Kennichi asked, humorously.

"Yeah, many problems..." Neji said. "Well, as soon as they are ready, we will go. Sorry for the trouble we are causing you."

"Not at all, we'll wait here to guide you guys to the Village."

Chapter 3

"Hinata...Hinata..."

"Hinata..."

Who is that?

"Hinata..."

Why are they calling my name?

"Hinata..."

Hinata gasped as her eyes opened abruptly. Tenten jumped back in surprise, but quickly regained her composure.

"Hinata, are you okay?" Tenten asked empathetically. She unconciously covered her mouth with one of her hands

Hinata sat up, blinking several times. "What happened?" Tenten fell over.

"Hehehe... Well, let's just say you fainted from all the heat." She replied, laughing sheepishly. "You really shouldn't wear that jacket all the time, especially during the summer time."

"I see..." Hinata began, a little embarassed. "Sorry for causing you so much trouble." I still am the one who slows the group down. She looked at the ground. I just wonder if -

"Here you go Hinata." Tenten said, interrupting her thoughts. "Here's your jacket."

"Thank you so much." Hinata said, glancing around. "Where's Naruto?"

"Oh... That idiot..." Tenten replied, clearly irritated. Then pointing at the downed ninja. "He's over there."

"What happened to him?" Hinata asked, clueless.

"Well let's just say he got what he deserved..." She said, looking away.

Hinata tilted her head sideways. I don't get it...

"Alright," Neji said, breaking the two's conversation. "Wake up Naruto and let's go!"

*Later*

The group of Ninja's stood before the sturdy doors to the Village. Each door bore the Hidden Village's emblem and it exemplified the tidiness and purity of the Sora-Gakure.

The left door let out a loud creak as it was pulled open by one of the guards, followed by the right door which was opened only moments later by another guard.

The Konoha group gasped at the same sight Neji say when he had first entered the Village those weeks ago.

"So...clean.." Lee stared in amazement.

"Wow." was all Tenten could say.

"Neji!!!!"

Everyone's heads turned in the voice's direction. A young girl was running towards them.

"Sorano!" Neji nearly yelled, he too was surprised. He had not seen her since he had left the Village, but he wrote to her occasionally.

She stopped right in front of Neji. "Konnichi wa, Neji-kun. I missed you~"

Lee and Tenten looked at each other inquisitively. Missed you?!

"Yeah, I missed you too." Neji said politely.

Missed you TOO?!

She looked away, almost blushing. "Actually, I really missed you."

REALLY MISSED YOU?!?!!?!??! Lee was banging himself on the head. HOW COULD NEJI BEAT ME AGAIN!?!?!? HE ALREADY HAS A GIRLFRIEND?!??! AHHHHHH~?~?!*?$~!?$#%%^#$!^&^%

Naruto was scratching his head, trying to understand what was going on. What is wrong with Lee?

Behind him, Hinata silently takes a step closer to Naruto, looking at the ground in her usual way.

The Sora-Gakure Trio stood on the side watching the Konoha ninjas.

"They truly are an interesting bunch, yeah?" Yuzuru asked.

"I think the one in the green is cute~" Yoriko said cheerfully.

Kennichi raised his eyebrow and then sighed. "Not you two, too..."
