I live in Modesto, only about an hour and a half away from San Fransisco. I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival last year and I plan on going back to it this year, especially when I heard about the Naruto tourny there.

There won't be a tournament, but there will be demos with cosplayers etc... at least that's the plan

You will, though, be able to see and handle the cards a week before release. In addition to that, there will be at least two release tournaments in San Francisco on the following weekend, I just need to write up the information.

.....No Fair we never really have anything like this here in MS and i live in Southaven which is just south of Memphis and you'd think that Memphis would have at least some things like this.....

Good Lord!

I just talked to the manager at Japantown Collectibles and he said they'll be giving away TRADING FIGURES to every person who tries out the game. I was expecting something like a little $2 patch or a cheapy pin, not a $5+ figurine.

Thats crazy! I was also expecting just a little cheap pin or something like that. Also, I talked to the owner of Japantown Collectibles and he said that he will be holding another demo on the 30th, not a tourney. Is this true?

should be a tournament. I'll talk to him tomorrow. It won't be anything too complicated. We'll only have about two hours, so I'll probably hold a sealed.

Basically, buy 5 packs, do your best to build a 40 card deck.
