Mission-024 Oath of Pain is edited...
The Japanese card shows the scene from the anime in which Naruto stabs his own hand, but our North American card only shows a zoom in of Naruto's face in the scene in which he stabs his own hand. This kind of crap happened with Yu-Gi-Oh!, and now it is happening with Naruto. This really ****es me off.
I can only wonder how Mission-033 Public Execution was edited... |

well, i belive it's not edited (the card). And it still should be the same as the japan one. But when it comes around to ep 68, there screwed for the show becasue orochimaru stabes his hand (he clamed he was tired and needed to wake up) And walks around with it. It's cool but wierd but the card shouldn't change, and if that shouldn't change, i say the ep's shouldn't either, its not fair. they should just bump the rating up one and show the blood and knives.

I couldn't read most of your post because it contained spoilers. Please refrain from that.
And yes, Mission-024 Oath of Pain is edited. I just found that Mission-013 Gato Transport is also edited. The picture on the card was a scene from the edited dub, and a slightly different scene, even without the edit, from the Japanese card. In our version of the card, Tazuna was edited to look much less drunk, and his bottle of sake or whatever has all of its Japanese text removed. Meh...This sucks... :/ |

The edits aren't from the BoA team. It's straight from what Viz hands us, and as
of the print, only the censored version exists in English, so we use that. A game's a game. The flavor text is more bothersome than the images (the images haven't reached a point of editing to where it's debasing of the original material yet). |

I don't like the changes as much as anyone else. Its one of the reasons I stopped watching the show in america. I do, however, leave my tv on when it is showing. I'm just trying to help boost the ratings so that they continue to bring merchandise to America.
Can someone clarify for me, did they keep Haku as a girl in the American anime? I heard for some reason, that they didn't want the guy and guy thing happening between Zabuza and Haku, so they kept Haku a girl in the anime. Is that actually true? Did they ruin that as well? |

Lets not turn this into a discussion on censorship of the Naruto TV series and our likes and dislikes being done to the property.
Stay on topic and try to be constructive here. It was explained before that edits were to be expected with this game, people shouldn't be suprised. |
