Pls help Couple questions I cant find the answers for...

Hello all I am just starting to get into the game with a friend of mine (we both bought are into Naruto and seen a deck at target and decided to give it a shot). Anyways I have a few questions that have came up that I haven't been able to find an answer to.
Does losing a squad member in combat allow your opponent to get a battle reward?

Also can you play more than one jutsu if the your opponent does not play one when its your turn? Lets say you attack he block and you play a jutsu and he does not counter it can you play another jutsu after that?

And this came up in a game I just played Pain Preta path (believe the card number is either I or 1 004 its from the Hero's Ascension pain deck) effect negate jutsu and opponent uses same pain to negate the first pains effect to negate jutsu is this how it works or ? we were both on odd turn marks so the effects were correct but can you do it like that? The complete effect is:

"[eoj] 0: if your turn marker is odd, negate target jutsu or negate target effect."
