trouble vs void deck

So pain naraka path+ icons and turn 4 human path are destroying me. Is there anyway besides effect text negation to beat this. Im running wind but I dont know what I could use against this deck anyone have any suggestions?

Shimon totally ruins a lot for the Pein deck because it kills Animal Path's token creation, Naraka can't bring in Heretical Icons, Giant Chimera won't make chunp blocker tokens when it loses a battle Hologram can't be used and neither can Pein: Summoning Jutsu. Shimon and Idle Comrades can really screw the deck over when used right, as well as [Attack & Defense] Gaara to keep up the removal, especially when they have nothing to sacrifice to put that bounced ninja back into play.

You might also want to consider splashing in some [Solo Attitude] Sasuke's or Tsukado's because I run a Pein deck as well and those two are generally my biggest annoyances in the early game because Void generally has no real snipes or pings for early game save for weapon jutsu, but only Asura Path is weapon and those work better with the Seven Swordsman deck anyways. [Wind Scythe] Temari is also aopther great card to mess up the game flow for a Pein player (or anyone really but you did say Wind)

It's a deck centered around this guy:

His effect stops Ninjas from entering play in any way other than being deployed, so you pair him with stuff like:




And turn temporary removal into permanent removal. It also plays a lot of other bounce cards, and you just control their field completely without having to use Jutsu or anything. Since it's a very permission style deck, one of its names is 'Shimon Says' as a reference to Simon Says.

I just want to go on record and say when I first started with Pain, I hated Shimon. He gave me nightmares.

Shimon really is the best option against pain decks right now effect negate does not even work on void because of Giant Rhino.
