This ^^^

Though some of you may have your personal opinions on World Of Pain, you have to give credit were its due. He got to top 4 fair and square and the only reason he didn't play to get the top place or what not is due to the majority wanting to split prizing by conceding and dice roll. It was very late at night and some of these players came ALL the way from Orlando and Ft Lauderdale (1-4 hour drives) and it they wanted to get a move on, I'm sure.

I'm not trying to under-appreciate the magnitude of our judges faulty rulings or understandings on the subject of splitting, cause this gambling is not pro-growth, but be a little more understanding. As a good friend of World Of Pain, I support him and his glory and as a 5 year player for Bandai I support any kind of warning or issue that may be arisen or addressed due to this incident.

My authority on the topic, by the way, is being a close friend of WOP and a consistent player at the location of this event, along with being at the event the whole time.

Lets have fun, build on, and continue, but please relax with the insta-flamming or the aroused anger, things that need to be sorted out will be handled by Bandai.

It was an honest mistake and not an attempt to cheat his way to the top. Although posting it, in hindsight, was a terrible idea and what they did was against the rules as a fellow player I say let them learn and not do it again. I personally see nothing wrong with it besides the fact that the winner gets benefits that concern bandai.

LOL are you kidding me? you are using that term too loosely; and it isn't truly considered cheating in a general context if the OTHER PLAYER(s) also agrees to do X (such as splitting, scooping to a friend, etc).

You and Sai'ix need to get over it.

Both of you are hypocrites. If you faced any of your friends on the bubble where you knew that if they won they'd top; and that if you won you'd not top (or be taking a huge risk, with a very low probability of topping) - you know you'd give them the win automatically so that at least one of you is guaranteed. Hush up.

They weren't deciding the outcome of games, just who got what prizing. He never said actual places were decided by the rolls anywhere in the post.
(1) Solution:
(a) When possible this should be stopped before it happens and the involved players should be warned that this is an illegal act and should not be repeated. Otherwise, the involved players should be set aside to explain the error and associated penalty to them.
(2) Penalty:
(a) (Basic) – Warning - If there is sufficient time have the players play their game as they should have. Otherwise, upgrade to Double Match Loss.
According to this here, they would be given a warning. No need to explode a thread over this, it takes away from the point of a chunin report. Also, your constant use of giant purple font is obnoxious.
Although tbh if I'd thought about it I'd have said not to put that part on here, but then again I got only 2 hours sleep so I take no responsibility

if they never played out top 4 that means they decided who got what places also another copy paste from the same document

C. Event Levels
1. Basic (Hobby Event)
a) This event is casual in nature and should be treated as such. Warnings should be repeated without upgrade. This is a learning environment for new players as well as old ones. Errors should be explained with details so that players learn from their mistakes.
2. Intermediate (Chunin/Core Championship)
a) This event is semiprofessional. Players are expected to have an intermediate knowledge of the rules of the game as well as the cards in their deck. A few repeat offenses can be allowed without immediate upgrade but upgrades should be issued when appropriated and should be tracked due to the level of the event/prizing.
6
3. Advanced (SHONEN JUMP Champs/Nationals/Master Champs)
a) This event is professional. Players are expected to have a detailed understanding of the rules of the game as well as all the cards in in their deck and any cards their opponents play/reveal. Repeat offenses should be upgraded and tracked.

as you can see in my post you only copied part of becuase this was a chunin the penelty would not be the same as if it was a normal weekly event see above for reffrence
sory if you dont like the font
and for anyone who thinks im attacking the player or the store you are wrong im explaining what was wrong so that it wont happen again and makeing it obvius that the players should not talk about it the meijin should not alow it and the store should not either it is against the rules that is my point my only point if you look above i defended the player from bashing aswell so w/e i guess

im much much more annoyed by the huge and colored font the flip flop poster that cant decide which side of this debate is on is using.
It was a bit of miscommunication here. They most likely did exactly what pretty much anyone else would. Each of them played out their matches, but prior to this they agreed no matter who got 1st-4th, they group all the prizing and hand out out evenly.

Done properly, this skirts (just barely) passed the rule that would cause penalty. And the guy (by the skin of his teeth) made it to the top regardless. That took the usual work that would have been needed. Semi-congrats man.
Doesn't mean I wont still whoop you on TCO or if I see ya at Gencon ;D
