1st Place Chunin Deck: Mill OTK

Here is the deck my friend used to win the AR Chunin. He thought he could catch people not expecting mill. He was right. No one had a side deck for it. He never played against a Revitalize Deck.

The point of the deck is to have Bartender Cat put Sasuke in the discard pile. Then, play Desperate Power to give Sasuke's effect to a ninja with Fang CA. Then, the Fang ninja plays Fang over Fang to mill your opponent's deck. The combo is pretty good since if X is greater than 5, Fang over Fang cannot be negated or affected by jutsus.

Sakura and Sakura's Confession helps at getting Desperate Power or Fang over Fang to your hand. Shikamaru helps keep more cards in your deck than your opponent. Shino allows you to mill your whole deck to mill their deck, then Shino goes to bottom of deck to save you from losing by deck out. Temari and Shino help with getting rid of their response to the combo.

He said it himself. Never ran into a Rev deck.

Assuming you never milled for infinite with Shino, this deck is a really cool idea. The only problem is it won't work in a large scale event due to the popularity of Revitalize.

Probably why he ended up switching decks for the Jonin.

Nice way to throw people off though.

i've considered running this, but without desperate power. doing this earlier than 4 makes it good.

I thought you couldn't pay x costs for jutsus with sasukes effect?

It was funny hearing people at the Jonin say that they had the perfect counter for mill in their side deck.

and also... this guy is nuts not running s22 Pakkun to +1 mill... it can't hurt. Pakkun is broken in synergy when your opponent uses Ino or Naruto TP4... is he kidding? How did he NOT run 3 of these?

I think what I meant, is why would u choose to run this deck? there is no way he could have known there was no rev....or at least a shino, I mean shino is really good...not expecting these card makes no sense.
