2 pain's with some suigetsu negate and pinned down jutsu. lose the client that actually slows down the deck to draw. the deck has more than enough draw w/o that client. and putting out deva is way more important than anything else in that deck.

Yes to the Suigetsu, Pinned down is decent too. But DO keep the client, if solely for the fact that you can use him for sacrifice. Who ever said you needed to use his effect? Futaba works pretty well with Icon too if you're looking for sacrifice fodder with a more useful effect. If you get a client in your starting hand it's definitely worth playing just for being able to keep field presence.

IMO, there's plenty to sac already. chimera making tokens(and itself) are great to sac, then spawn tokens come in every other turn. chameleon as well. in that deck you should only need to sac 4 times. with reminds me, get rid of those useless ashura paths as well. they keep you from getting OVs. and if you run the deck smart, there will be no T5 for you. right to T6. 3 eyes of pain jutsu for nagato childhood too

Essentially this means you can't count on your tokens to sac. Animal Path's tokens are only good for chumps and for bringing a late Naraka into play because Icon serves just fine as sacrifice/PiP for Human/Deva/Preta. Running a couple clients (read: Futaba) for sacrifice is great because you can keep your low drops on the field for essentially a -1 to hand. Mid- to late-game, Futaba serves as a draw source when Icon does his thing. Futaba also makes your opponent think twice about attacking for a Victory since you'll get a draw off it when Icon's out. About Chameleon: he turns into a beefy 5/2 if you have a Pain out, so why sacrifice him first? If you can avoid saccing him by saccing a client instead, I'd say that's definitely worth it. I agree with you on pretty much everything else. Asura is bad and T5, if anything, should be Kisame if that's what you dig. I can attest, usually Eyes/Time/Ame Orphans/whatever boosts past T5. |

I'd dump the Centipedes for Zetsu. He has quite a valuable effect -- he checks for early Backstabs, late jutsus, mission negation, etc. Once he's on the field he can be sacced to trigger his effect whenever you like too. Play more Rhino if you're not using Suigetsu. His effect is decent and he obtains the combat of JI'd ninjas, Tailed Beasts put in play by Kushina (will be a thing when S28 drops), etc. His 2 support is decent for his drop too. And for the love of everything good drop Animal Path. He's not that good, people. Ok, well MAYBE if you don't have any Icons he's worth playing... Void World is beyond great. Draw 1 every other turn is a great effect to have on the side. The T1 Tobi that tutors the mission is worthwhile too. Cards that make mono-void way better: Sasuke PG Rin TP4 Suigetsu S24 SR Shino S23 Maybe consider adding some of them if you have any. |

thanks for the opinions but doesnt void world sorta take away from straight up void because then you are adding another 5-6 cards which essentially only slow the deck down a bit... also what turn cost is true form because if it is turn 6 there is no point in running it because by then i wont need him, insted i might just take him out for another rhino and something else... but the only reason i like animal path is because i have no icons and because he gives me something to sac, in a perfect world i would prefer running set 23 shino over him as a 2-3 of
