Naruto (9 Tail's Cloak) N-1646

This is a card I have waited for, for a good, long while, both overall, and more so recently, when this set let me know it would finally be released, but as I look at it, I wonder how much I actually like it. What are other people's opinions of this card? Good? Awesome? Other Narutos you'd definitely rather use?

For me, he has most everything I could want, except for Tailed Beast Form, but that's a small price, I suppose, and maybe Jinchuriki will cover it. He has all the other right stuff, which pleases me. Sadly, his strength is maybe a bit lower than I might've expected (comparing to Sage and J-Sage), but he has no ridiculous deployment reqs, and a nice combo to hit the field early. Base Pwr/Spt on cards has been known to be a ridiculous-factor, too, and that's what Jutsus and Missions are for.

Then, we come to his effect. Am I the only one who that effect kind of bothers? Sure, late in the game, it could cinch you the game, and with his strength, any last-minute BRs you needed, and didn't get via his effect, probably aren't too far out of reach via conventional means, but doing that much potential damage to your own forces; if it doesn't win, you might have an unhappy fight ahead. I plan to try and use it, anyway, but much like , I lightly see his effect as a potential weak spot of an otherwise awesome ninja I have long awaited.

Well, those are most of my feelings. How do others feel about it?

My opinion? He's great. He's about at the power level I expect without seeming broke. With Disaster he'll turn into a field wipe and that's reason enough to play him as a finisher. Since he's tutorable with Sage's Training Grounds he becomes instantly more playable. Lightning/Void for turn marker rush up to him + disaster and Lightning/Wind for the healing just got a powerful finisher. He's the kind of card I like to see in the game. Not OMG SO BROKE on his own, but very powerful when combined with other cards.

Love him. Guy is the finishing touch I needed for the stall out deck I had planned with the not so subtle card I linked above. Kisuke, Fish, Sasuke SA, etc. just stall and stall. The Sage, Inari Decision, Warhawk get me draw and draw. Then it's a simple 1-2 punch that (assuming my opponent hit a drop between 0-6/7) just won me 12-14 BRs.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I thiiink thats enough to win.

Other good combos I heard were tide of deadly to wipe their field and have an (injured but around) army swarm them. Or disaster of 9 tails to clear the field (though you wont win as many BRs) while having hidan cursed mode out. Now you have 2 5+ ninjas for another 4 brs. This card is mad good, just not so much on his own really.

I agree with this. Unlike a certain Kage, *cough* Muu *cough* Naruto's effect is actually designed very well and is fair for his turn marker. It's not exactly "unique", but it certainly promotes combos.

Everyone hating is mad he does "to little" for his turn/character/being non-reinforcement, but this card is a game ender, in one of this meta's most powerful decks even (Aggro Lightning/fire anything)
But i'll gladly let people believe he is junk. Easier to get mine. Might get two actually.
