Pain (Asura Path) N1203

Hi everyone! Me and my girlfriend are new to the Naruto CCG, and there is one card which confuses us entirely: Pain (Asura Path) [Pain's Face] N1203.

Suppose my Pain is battling a team of 3 of her ninjas, each with (for example) an entrance cost of 4. Pain's effect is as follows:
[Valid][EOJ] Place X -1/-1 coins on this Ninja: Injure target opposing Ninja with Entrance cost equal to X.
So in order to injure one of her ninjas, I would have to put 4 coins on Pain. However, within the same EOJ, would it be possible to put 24 coins on Pain (for each Ninja, 4 coins to injure, another 4 coins to kill, so 8 coins for each of the 3 ninjas), thus wiping out her entire attack?

This is not possible. has an activated effect and it can only be used once per turn.
