Is there a future for this game? (Please read and leave your thoughts)

I have been playing this game for 5 years I love it, It is the best card game out.
The game has been slowly dying for the past year. Why is this you ask? Because Bandai dose not support the game well, here is why.
1.There are not many new players because they do not advertise this game, Remember a year or 2 ago when they would make commercials and put them on with the show. They do not do that anymore.
2. The price of the cards are going up, the most expensive cards used to be $20-$30 now there is a $40+ card every set. This would not be bad if the prize support was better so u could make your money back on these expensive cards.
3. The prize support is SO BAD! If u top at a Jonin u get a Mat,Box,Promos and video game this dose not make me wanna travel to play at these events. It used to be worth the cost to travel when u had a chance of winning a PS3,Ipod touch and good prizes like that. And do u really wanna spend $200 (give or take) on a deck to win the crap prizes they offer now. I know i dont.

Solutions to the problems listed above.
1. Put effort into advertising the game make commercials, Advertise on social media sights, I am sure if u tweet out about the game people will retweet to make the game more known.
2. Make a better effort at controlling the prices of cards dont let Troll and Toad dictate the prices of YOUR PRODUCT! Keep the game affordable.
3. Increase the prize support add Items with good value (ex. PS3,PS Vita, Xbox 360,Ipod touch, etc.) so people will travel to these events.

If these easy to fix problems are corrected the game will take off again like it did 2 years ago.

Please leave your thoughts bellow so Bandai will see this.
And hopefully we can get this game back to the way it used to be.

I don't think that this is inherently bad. I think it shows that there is some demand for those cards. Is it required that you get 3 of every 40 dollar card that comes out of each set? i don't think so, there's lots of combinations of cards that produce good decks. Of course your point about ****ty prizes is very valid, I believe better prizes would probably solve both of these problems regardless because competitive players could then "afford" to buy more cards.

My problem is that 2 of the block legal sets are almost completely sold out because bandi didn't make enough product. I'm a new player and without sage's legacy and kage summit i'm missing out on some great cards. They have a market that they failed to take advantage of.

Yah that is true they switched printing company's and that stopped the production of set 24 and 25

i haven't been playing the game long enough to judge, but just from hearing from veteran players; the prizing is increasing and that's a first step. started to pick back up again with Sage's Legacy, now we're catching up to the anime, Jonin's are back which took a break for a bit and actually the player base is slowly increasing because of all of these perks that are coming back. its hard to compare to magic and yugioh with that kind of caliber but next to those, i say naruto is unique enough to enjoy it and if you love the anime come back. (not sure if the newest set coming out is worth buying more than a box) but nonetheless, support for the game is coming back after the economy hit a few years ago and its a great start.

The problem with this game has always been the bad metas we always have. We never seem to get a fair balanced meta with no problems. Right now I'm hearing that he meta is far more diverse than it's ever been, which is great, but we still have cards that are too broken too early. Cards like JI, Ino Childhood, Warhawk, and Mind Transfer, just to name a few, shouldn't exist. It used to be a race to hit your broken card before your opponent hit his. Now it's more like I opened with my broken card and my opponent didn't so I win. That's what's frustrating players.

The prices for cards going up is actually a good sign. It shows there is demand for the product. I might be aggravating for those who can't afford it, but that's true for any game.

The prizing is actually getting a little betteranc this past Gencon they started having the prizes on hand as opposed to mailing them out, which was a real surprise.

I comaplin as much as anyone else, but I do think they are trying a little better to support the game.

It is true they are adding more events to try and get more players, but are u really gonna switch from Yugioh or Vangaurd which have good prize support to play a game with bad prize support? Naruto is a much better game and takes more skill to play but the prize support is still BAD. Offering a mat, video games, and promos dose not make me wanna travel, I will spend more money on gas or plane tickets then if i just bought that stuff on T&T. If they were offering high value items it would be worth traveling for, and it would be give players who play others games a reason to play naruto.

I do agree that this game has finally got its first fair meta all decks are balanced for the most part. This game would be at a all time high if there was a good amount of players the number of players has decreased so much in the last year. If they advertise the game and increase prize support this game would be at a all time high.
