texans...is sand tsunami worded wrong?

So I saw the preview for sand tsunami and it says:
Target: the head ninja opposing the user.
effect: give 1 damage to the target. Then if the target is discarded due to this effect give 1 damage to another ninja in the user's team. then if that ninja is discarded due to the effect, discard the target's team.

Is this worded right? A friend of mine uses sand ninjas, so id like to know what's up with this to avoid confusion. Thanks!

There is nothing wrong with the text, that's the way the card is intended to be. (BAD)

Are you saying you think they made an error, or that it wasn't their intention for it to be bad? Both can be true, sadly...

If you consider how rare it is that an opponent has an injured head ninja AND an injured back ninja in the same team, it turns out that you'll probably get the wipe effect more often the way it's worded since that's one more factor you control.

actually this is a good point. You discard their head ninja, then sac off your own useless back ninja to wipe out their team. It makes the jutsu better IMHO. Worth a 3 of to me.

I think is card is targeted at those rare ninjas that get stronger when they are injured because they usually end up being the head ninja, ex. Naruto, Obito, Killer Bee, whatever

For collection, I hope. The jutsu is still way too situational to actually use in a deck. There's only one user and its strong effect is predicated on opposing an injured head ninja AND having an injured ninja in your team as well. might help out, but that's still 2 high-drop ninjas plus a specific entrance cost ninja needed on your part JUST to get the full effect of the jutsu. The card is pretty useless against decks not playing Naruto/Bee/ninjas that don't mind being injured. Plus Wind has healing galore, so it's unlikely you'll leave your own ninja injured for very long especially if you're playing a Futaba engine.

I still love the card though.
