The only Leaf ninjas were Inoichi, Shikaku and Tsunade (before she went on to fight). The rest were Cloud ninjas and that Ao guy, forgot which village he's from. Go re-read the chapters and you'll see for yourself. They never left the Cloud village after Gaara's speech in front of the army, at least that's how it was presented.

Chill dude, when your comment was made I DID go back and see it was wrong, we just posted reasons on why we thought it was leaf village, per your request of "Why would you think that?"
I mean you can't even remember Aos village (Mist btw), many cant't remember who he is, and besides Shikaku we saw them all in weirdhead mask things. Headbands are no use too cause right now they are all wearing bands that say Shinobi. Is it so far fetched that since it's been about a year since that speech was even given and a lotta spit went down maybe we forgot?

I was merely explaining it to you in more detail so you get where I'm coming from. Perhaps you should take your own advice.

We're probably going to see the place destroyed sooner or later in the upcoming chapters, I'm looking forward to that.
