Personally I don't see the Super Nintendo getting as much credit as it deserves. Some of the greatest games of all time were on it. When it comes to the classic gaming consoles the NES and Genesis are always placed on a pedestal as being the "first" true game consoles but Super Nintendo is really what made Nintendo into the powerhouse it is today.

Nah man, Nintendo fanboy representing here. I love all the systems. You name a Nintendo system, I got a top 5 for it. Once the Wii U hits a year old i'll have 1 for that too. (I plan to pick one up in February anyways.)
SNES I loved Super Mario World the best, but I also gotta give Secret of Mana it's props. Wasted many an hour on it. Of course though nothing ate up as much social time as Street Fighter 2
