difference between cannot be affected and targeted
what is the difference between ninjas that cant be affected by your opponents effects or cant be targeted by your opponents affects?

If a card states "Target: 1 Jutsu", and the Jutsu cannot be targeted, then it is an illegal target. If a card is a legal target, then becomes an illegal target while the targeter is still on the chain, then the target becomes illegal and the targeter will fail. Exception: Anything that does NOT state a target will affect untargetable cards. Effects that affect a Team, specifically state that. Target: The Team battling against the user Target: All Teams Target: Every Team sent out to Battle When a target is "Target: Every Ninja battling against the user" the effect is targeting each individual Ninja, not the Team as a whole.
