Didn't notice the almost in your post, Vone. I must be slipping; I'm usually the details guy.

From what I know of the first set (which isn't very much), I'm still sticking by my 4. Knowing that the game mat has a flow chart is nice though. Saves me the trouble of remembering to explain everything when I demo it. Not that I won't forget, it's that I MIGHT, and that's important.

GWar.

Like kyle i've played a lot of ccg/tcg and i'm going the same way as him. The game seems straight foward and fast paced. I think that most match will be done under 8 turn of play.

Deck building for now is rather easy. Again like kyle already said. The cards and clear and simple. This isn't like L5R where you can play on the wording. I think that bandai have limited the text to avoid wording conflict.

I would say that this game will stay straight foward and simple with not a lot of thinking for deck building. Your thinking part will be done on your strategies during the play.

BTW rating is 3/10

Exactly, unlike many card games that promote a player to think for himself, the usage of cards in the Naruto CCG is extremely straightforward as they have specified the exact usages of the card, the specific targets, and requirements. Card text rarely is very large or long in this game, a few sentences max, but compared to some games, the cards in Naruto are fairly simple.

Compared to other games I've played, from what I gather about Naruto, it seems fairly simple. I'd have to go with a rating of 3.

Even with future cards, the game doesn't really get much more complex, as the rules of the system are very straightforward and to the point. Complex activation/timing/targetting issues is something Naruto does not ever have to worry about, its all pretty clear cut.

I don't think this CCG is too complicated.

It's actually quite easy.

The game is very simple, having gone through all the cards the whole thing is straightforward and really there are no cards that make you really think that much about it's effects. Game will be easy for even young kids to play.
I have to agree with Kyle81. It's not too hard.

3 / 10 in diffuculty.

These are just opinions, though.
