Question on Nawaki,Dan,and JI

So lets say I have Dan(N210) in play already. I deploy Nawaki(N209) and draw 1. Then I use Jonin's Intervention(M106), and I send Dan out to battle. Dan and Nawaki are both discarded at the end of my turn, I draw 1 from Nawaki and then JI activates. My question is can I put 2 Jonin into play since 2 ninjas were discarded???
