Rasengan J-377 & Armed Puppet J-us090

if i have an armed puppet (us 090) that has already resolved and is now in effect and i then use rasengan(#377) on a healthy ninja which will die because the armed puppet makes the 1 damage kill the ninja, will i get to use the second part of the effect on the rasengan to deal another damage to another ninja?

No, this is b/c the damage from Rasengan J-377 didn't discard the ninja. The Armed Puppet J-us090 effect is what caused the ninja to be discarded.
