i want to know if some ninja card can do EFFECT damage ?because kabuto yakushi from approching wind is useless if none card are damaging effect??

in the same way, when the text say cannot be affected by effect of opponent ninja(N-455Naruto Uzumaki & Gamabunta), this is all ninja effect or some exepction??like N-366 Kisame Hoshigaki from lineage of legend.i think this text don t affect opponent ninja then the +2/0 work,right? tell me if i m wrong please
