Smile Abbreviation Definitions

Good morning!

I'm a very new Naruto player (recently bought a starter deck, a few booster packs and a Gaara Tin) to try and understand the concept of the game.

I enjoy browsing through the deck list strategies, and I must admit, they're very impressive.

I do have a question however, in regards to the [tags] that are attached to the names; I know that they represent something but I often times have difficult understanding what or how.

For example:

Choji [usF]
Ino [usF]
Shikamaru [usF]

I understand that they may the character definition (Like Genma Shiranui [Encounter Battle]) Or a specific set release [BOD] for Battle of Destiny...

But here a few that I could not find translations for...

Choji, Ino, Shikamaru [usF]
Sasuke [BTL]
Chidori [STSR]

Any help is appreciated.

If this is the wrong forums for these questions; I do humbly apologize.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. It really helps when trying to help other players out if they use abbreviations for every card, lol.

Welcome! For Ino, Shika, Cho, they are US exclusive cards. Since there effect is Formation, they are called usF. Sasuke BTL stands for Beyond the Limits. And Chidori is Starter Super Rare. Hope that helped.

Zero posted a thread about this, but for a few here are explanations:
Chidori [STSR] Chidori is a jutsu so it isn't effect text, but describing which one. Any ST card is a Starter card and the SR stands for Super rare.

Sasuke [BTL] stands for Beyond the Limits, it comes from RR and lets you use Chidori for free.

As you learn more cards you'll be able to decipher card abbreviations.

Well usF = U.S. Formation. This was the United States exclusive Choji, Shika, and Ino and their effect is called "Formation"

Sasuke [BTL] = Sasuke [Beyond The Limits]

Chidori [STSR] = Chidori [Starter Super Rare] This was the chidori that came in the Sasuke Quest for Power starter deck and you can only get this card in the starter deck.

I hope I helped.
