Identical early game in every deck does spell "unhealthy" in my book especially everyone else I'm assuming. I'm worried it's almost making every deck (and as much as I want to refrain myself from saying this I gotta)
into semi-cookie cutter. O_o

I think Eternal Rivalry was the start of the problem with the early game delimma, as for most of the cards in the set they helped changed the game alot but in a good way so to speak. Gaara TN only made that dilemma worse with his synergy with Shikamaru and Choji.

I think the early game so far is good and we should*Bandai* should keep it how it is, no erratas or nuthin because if you mirror match up till turn 2, it then becomes skill. or sumthin*im tired*

no, it becomes "who hit their Gaara/Shika/Cho curve and who didn't". that's all this game is boiling down to. Gaara is the root of the problem. as dangerous as Choji is, he can at least be played around somewhat, or have his effect baited. Gaara? once he's on there, he stops any plans i had going with my ninjas, because there's no guarantee they'll still be standing at the end.

you can still play against a Cho>Shika>Gaara Curve...
