I myself am a Meijin so here's the things you should know...

1) Must be 18+ or older to be a meijin

2) You must fill out the required forms from GamersRoundTable and send them in to Bandai either online in an email or fax. The forms will your test your knowledge about the game.

3) You can hold your games almost anywhere but it's always best to center your games in a hobby shop if at best. The reason? Bigger turn out, and almost everyone in town can benefit from shopping at the hobby store, not a library.

4) If you hold your events at a Public Library you cannot accept any money payments from your patrons at the "said" library. You can however accept payments in advance or at another location then, meet at the library. (there's always a way around that stupid library rule)

5) Be sure to schedule events on GamersRoundTable or else you will not recive prize kits at the hobby store you sign up with. Yes I said Hobby store. The kits do not get sent to your house. Reason? We don't want you selling the stuff, stealing the stuff, etc etc. Although your stating your 18 or older, your also stating your a responsible adult as well.

6) Chunin Events. Bandai's' James Takenaka is currently accepting Chunin Forms from all Meijins who wish to be hosts for the 2nd round of Chunin Events. This does not mean you will host the event, only that they "May" qualify you and your event center.

7) Bans. At this time there is no current bans on cards, however recent talks on the forums have been circulating over whether or not "Path of hokage" will be banned all together. As for coils of the snake, I can't see them banning that whole series. Specially since of the best cards come from that series. (aoc, 8 trigrams, sharingan, etc)

8) Lastly, have fun with it and keep spreading the news of the game to local citizens in and out of town. This is the only way your going to get more and more people showing up.

If you have further questions please PM ME here on the forums. Thanks.
