So far this hasn't been in the manga at all, maybe Kishimoto let it out in an article maybe JUKEN_FINGER_POKE but it hasn't been spilled in the last chapter of the manga (307).

Its probably simple reasoning for how the last chapter went. Sitting around in a clan for three years, you're bound to do something.

I can see them having Sasuke kill Itachi, but about him having no purpose after that, I'm not buying it. They could simply write in some sappy stuff about him finding a reason to live for those who love him or something, animes do that a lot. But Sasuke is good when he is not harping on his family I mean come on move on guy ur a cartoon character.
