fair enough. Still, it is the first time we've not been able to just order directly.

Off to contact the distros, then..

Selling direct doesn't help at all.

Also selling direct to a store, even if in large quantities does not help Bandai as it's all going to one source, whereas a distributor will actually get the product spread to a larger scope of stores. There taking product that was headed to big name stores like Walmart and Target and redirecting it to distributors, who have amounted quite a big list of back orders already, I'm sorry but even if you are a retailer who buys alot, Bandai has its priorities to it's actual business partners who get the cards out there for them.

Been in business myself for a long time and our family also runs a wholesale distribution firm, sorry but lot of big companies will just flat out not sell to a person, no matter how much money you flaunt in front of them.

Going to have to place an order with a game/card distributor for product.
you said that you are a distributor if you are do you have any boxes availible and if not when will you get them

All of my contacts are saying 1-2 weeks. Bandai has to print more to ship before we will see it apparantly.

2 weeks from now this will be a fond memory..

i seriously doubt that. YGO survived for a month or more at the beginning due to small prints at the beginnning. heck, it survived for a couple weeks until the starters (with the instructions on how to play) showed up at the stores.

there is a YGO Sneak this weekend which will hold off a lot of the pressure. if the stores don't have product by the long Memorial Day weekend, that may put a crimp in a lot of potential sales.

in a month or two, people will look back and wonder what the big deal was.
