Personally, I am a fan of flashbacks. They fill in the back story and provide a bit of world building.

I don't hate flashbacks it just feels like this flashback could've been squeezed into another chapter half the chapter was Madara childishly yelling at Hashirama for no reason. all Kishi was doing there was stretching the chapter and that's what I didn't like about this chapter and if it's another flashback chapter next time I'll just want to throw up because of all this force fed back story. Simply put this chapter was drawn out no pun intended.

Really? We should be glad about the backstory. It explains a lot that we had no idea about.

Hashirama's relationship with Madara before they fought.
Third sibling to the Senju brothers.
Both remaining Senju brothers' attitudes.
Madara's attitude.
How they lived.
And how different Shinobi were. Did any of them use chakra in this chapter? Maybe we can see how using jutsu started. I'm excited.

As I read all of it I just felt like becoming celibate cause I didn't give a u know what.

Yeah I get the point was to show that Madara and Hashirama shared similiar views duhh anyone with half a brain could see that, I just didn't enjoy this chapter unlike all of you wonderful people.
