Report.
Tournament saw a total of 12 players (not sure how much participation there usually is)
There were way too many players running JI, probably 5 or 6.
I ran revitalize and managed to pull out the win. However, it was a challenge.
This being my second month of playing the game I was pretty excited to win. I made some mistakes along the way so thanks to everyone I played for making the tournament a fun time.

Round 1 vs Derek
So i brought Derek into the game and me and him share cards. So when I drew him on round one that was awesome (not). He was running JI but it didn't hit, therefor, I won. 2-0

Round 2 vs Nick (has a name on this site but i'm not sure)
He was running a weird gedo art deck that splashed pain. He won match one with the solo attitude, tsukado combo and rushed me. I won match 2 with free spam and match 3 I rushed him. 2-1 I won.

Round 3 vs Matt aka brightnoa
He was running a perm earth deck that stalls for like game deidara and nine tails shenanigans. This game was annoying. Match 1 I just lost fair and square. I side decked in Temari and Sabiru to try and compensate. Match 2 i got him to 9 with a full field of the 1st hokage, 5th kazekage and hidan curse mode. He played the earth perm mission that stops battles and the 5th mizukage and stopped me from using curse mode. He went on to combo deidara, his own curse mode and exaggeration to win. I lost 2-0.

Round 4 vs John (who uses matts' account I believe)
He was running JI. He hit Ji match one and won. He hit JI late match 2 and I tree spammed late for the win.

match 3 needs its own paragraph. He hit JI and tetragram and left me with sakura who flashpointed back in. However he demolished his hand and his field presence when some early plays. 2 mind transfers and a couple turns later I had him with my field presence. I swung 3 teams of 5 and he chose to not block and play kurenai. I mind transfered. Couldn't believe it. Poor ruling or not it certainly helped me. I win 2-1.

So 4 players were 3-1 so we chose to do top 4 for the finals.

Top 4 round 1 vs (I really feel bad for not knowing his name =[)
He ran JI and just missed it both games, coupled with a mull to 5 game 1. I won 2-0

Top 4 finals vs David
I didn't expect to get to this point and I had to play David who has won 2 (arguably 3) of the last 4 chunins here.
He was running a JI (genjutsu maybe?)deck and in 2 of the matches missed it. I got lucky what can I say. He took match 2. Match 1 I rushed and match 3 he drew awfully and I rushed. It was fun though i won 2-1.

Overall this was a great experience and I walked away with the complete set 25. Not much to complain about haha. I want to thank everybody who showed up to the tournament and look forward to the next one.

I'm pretty sure you haven't seen all AZ chunin reports for the last few years. We all ways have controversy, have to stir up the tumble weeds once in a while, you know.

We where trying to accommodate for all the players because it would have conflicted with their schedule. On another note Tcvance was on fire that day NO one was going to beat him.

It was agreed upon by all the players in the top 8. The people filling out the top 8 had to go places ha noone complained about it otherwise we would have done top 8.
So you can consider the 4 other players to have scooped.
