im sure everyone has had a grind your teeth moment where your mission you needed got negated. its annoying. i understand they are necessary but i just personally feel that missions are vital part to any deck and mission hate is not cool. |

its a cardgame and the players will always complain. if we agree or not is besides the point. we all have different opinions about the game and i dont think this thread has been made to rage but for a simple "hey, i like this deck, why doesnt it see more play" |

We did answer why the deck doesnt see more play its because it caught people off guard when it first came out but once it lost the surprise factor the counters were easy to find and there are just a few too many for it to be competitive. |

Permanent Earth is still a competitive deck. There are a few Permanent missions which are extremely annoying, and if you allow the deck to set up it's more of a lockdown than Void (if you let them get out all their Paths).

I used to think that too, but I have realized that mission negation itself is fine. It's the massive draw we have along side that that makes it a problem.
If I negate your mission, I go -2 in hand to have you go -2 in hand and stop your turn, which should be fair. But, If I follow up with a Warhawk next turn and go +2, putting me right back on par. Now I have what I need and you're left to top decking. Ino Childhood does the same thing. I stop you from getting resources and then refill my hand. |

if we get better ways to stop mission negation perma earth could be better.

It's still pretty good. You have enough missions in there that they can't possibly stop them all. Especially if you have a few different ones that discarding one still gets you an advantage while you have another in play.

Ideally you'd want to stop your opponent's mission and follow up with a plus the turn after. Then you draw into another mission negate and your opponent can't do anything.
