Faster rulings: since we will need an admin for the site people who are playing the game could simply ask an admin a ruling. For example you being an admin who is on the site will be called to a match asked a ruling and explain it to the characters in detail since you actually see the play instead of hearing the play. Better players: not many players are able to go to their locals everyday or at certain times because the shops close or The players has other errands. However since they have a website they can attend they can play and practice more than they usually do and understand plays between players since they can get familiar with decks out there. |

Faster rulings: That would make it so at least two admins have to be on at all times. That is hard to manage considering the CCG department is based here in California. Better players: I'll give you that one, because it would be great. But if you could play there, why bother buying cards when you have access to everything already? |

For the admins. Dueling network only has about 3 admins and they rotate. So if we get at least for. Maybe two on the east side and two here in California. Then we can rotate. As for the cards to buy. Many people go to tournaments. That's the whole reason why we buy cards. In my opinion. The prizing is what draw players to play. For example last year I went to ycs a yugioh tournament. That had a record of 4,000 people join that year. Even with the website avaliable to everyone. People go to tournaments to play and show their skill. Yet how can we get players of they don't get enough practice and barely know rules. That's where the website comes in more players are able to play. And train and understand the game better. |

Well when it comes to a business they must make sacrifices and find a way to move up. I have an idea of how the online card game could work already. It's just up to them to put it to work. To me it seems much better for the community to have a legitimate online ccg for players.

We just need a group of people on board.

I wrote a PHP script (now stored somewhere on my old computer) that would automatically pull sets from the old card list, download all the pictures, and generate a set for MWS (with just the card names to map to the appropriate art).
If anyone wants it... make me care enough to go pull it. That's the closest there's ever gonna be to an online Naruto game (and still better than anything Alex Bykov made!). |

In my opinion a single person with sufficient Flash coding knowledge and experience can do the whole thing. There are thousands of Facebook games made by individuals that are much more complex than what is necessary for this. It's not necessary to start from scratch, there are some great free game engine platforms that can be used. It's more about it being time consuming rather than difficult, especially to implement all the rulings, if they should be automated and not left in the hands of the players themselves (which could work OK as well and would be much easier to do). |
