If i used N1471 to target 2 ninjas.

During EoJ, if i used J899 and used the damage on one of the ninjas that i had originally targeted with N1471.

Since it was technically discarded due to the damage of J899, do i meet the requirements to get the 2nd effect of J899?

This would depend on whether the Ninja was healthy or injured. If the Ninja is healthy, then it would be discarded due to 's effect, not because of . If the Ninja was injured, it would be discarded due to j899.
