I woulda said before search the GD, like 3 people asked this, but here:
Buy sets 26 and 27, maybe preorder some of 28. Trade stuffs and all.
when you decide on a deck, buy the singles needed on TnT (except ones you pulled from the aforementioned boxes of course)
Meta is pretty diverse. Void, Lightning +1 coins, Lightning/fire, and earth (revitalize mainly) all seen top spots in chunins and such as of late. There's also some small potential in wind in general and once this set hits Weapons and TB aggro will be seen prominently.

revitalize is the best by far right now, just build that, and the Gencon winners card just makes the deck 10X more broken...so yea

what is Revitalize? see im a noob now so im just going to buy all the cards i need to make this deck so if u wouldn mind giving me a deck list to go buy that would be great! and where can i get/buy gencon promos? sidenote: i already got my badge and everything for gencon so im taking this very serious since it will be my first time going thanks!

Revitalize is the new earth mechanic, it can be found under "Mechanics" on this site.
Buy 2 boxes of set 26 and other singles, and you'll have a rev deck. Just make sure it has 3 Tree summoning (set 26) 2 first hokage (set 26) 3 naruto (TP4) and 3 ino childhood (set 27 I believe) and otherwise run it however you want.

He is being silly :P
The point of the deck is simplistic. Mill off until you only have 10 (or less) cards in deck, then win by playing Tree summoning jutsu. there's obviously many ways to do this, and other conditions can be set as well (like playing defense and letting Deidara or Hidan win them) but thats the main way to play.
