TEAM ELIGIO-should WE get back into naruto?

its been longer then a year since WE have touched naruto, most of you might know my crew (team Eligio)... i got into magic and pokemon but it just wasnt enough and i quit those quickly.... i got back into gaming but there is still something missing..... should i get back into naruto? idk i find myself pondering..... idk how the game has changed theres alot i dont like, like paying for a crap load of cards just to get them banned and rotated out. the price on the cards alone are high compared to pokemon and magic, which have better prizes. Idk maybe its jus me, i'd love to get back into it and bring some old players back, buts its hard with the way things are now compared to other ccg's......what do you think?

take some time to read over some of the changes to the tournament structure posted on the site. SJC's are supposedly getting a big buff (to be announced) and we have events like jonin's back now.

Chunnin prizing was incrased and SCJ prizing is to be increased. we even have an in between event with good prizing as well.

as far as your opinion on block? well that's just kinda the way it is. I think Naruto but benefit a bit with an "extended" format like magic. But rotation is a system that works for other ccg's very well and it's working for naruto very well too.

I'd say yes, now is a good time to get into the game again. the variety in the meta is amazing ( just went to a chunnin where 7 different decks topped) and the prizing is better (winner got a full set of 25 and 100ish dollars worth of promo's)

In the end it's up to you I just recommend you read up on the changes and increased and decide for yourself if it's worth coming back to naruto.

It is worth getting back into Naruto. The secondary market for Naruto is there, since you can get cards cheap and sell them to others to cut margins.

The playerbase is steady and nice; comparable to the year before. It's still a great game. eBay is selling "boxes" (aka 24 blister packs) of sets like Weapons of War, Sage's Legacy, etc... for cheap since some singles are really hard to find.

If it means that Eligio comes back in all his Eligio glory and brings all his Eligio antics with him, then for that reason and that reason alone, I would say yes. Only because Eligio is hilarious.
