Coming back to the game from a 1 year hiatus, I actually think the game is amazing right now. So many deck options and type matching you can do compared to when I left the game. With the intro of all the new triple element and dual element stuff you really have alot more to work with in deck building. Tri-element decks actually work now! The only complaint I have with the current state of the game is most likely the same as everybody else's with the tree jutsu at 3. I'm not even saying ban it, just limit it to 1. Because it's pretty ridiculous when you can have a field of 9 ninjas and your opponent has only yamato on the field with tree jutsu in hand and win the game.

Maybe they should print a Comparative Strengths that actually does what the original card intended to do before hosing any effect at all...
Comparative Abilities [Insert Element that is Not Void Here] Counter Permanent (2) Turn 2 Hand cost 0 Target: 1 Ninja Effect: Attach this Mission to the target. While this Mission is attached, the targets gains the following effect: "Valid: This Ninja cannot use Jutsu with 1 or more specific Symbols in its Jutsu cost." Hoses Jutsu with specific users, but doesn't degrade the game into dedicating 3 slots to it because you can negate any effect too. I'm not gonna complain, but I didn't exactly find it very interesting to run a 44 card deck back in the day when it was x3 Tobi x3 Comp Strengths or Bust. |

I actually enjoyed comparative strengths. Though because no one else I knew used it.

the game was much harder sets 1-13 and required much more skill, the cards didn't do "i win the game" always on them and the gap between good players and bad players was vast.
In today's game you can be vastly better than your opponent and still lose most of your games. too many cards give baddies a loaded gun to play with to shoot your opponent in the face. the blocks/attacks and schemes are more obvious because of ninja combats and supports on their respective turns especially because of sasuke solo attitude. the game makes more choices for the player than the player makes for the game. A lot of players that used to horrible and now topping events because of this. there is rarely anymore "mind games" in naruto anymore 80% of the time it really comes down to "do you have it or don't have it." I miss the intricate complexity behind older naruto, where tech cards reigned supreme and showing up with a surprise deck could lead to win championships. |

Get off the forums and never speak again. You should be banned from posting for several weeks for saying this.

I think he meant sets 1-3. And back then people missed 0 AND 1 drop and still won the game
