Reason for change

Many players where all wondering where did the ninja go if the effect triggered during the EOJ

Your proposed change would reset control of the Ninja back to the owner, even if that Ninja is currently being controlled by the owner's opponent with a card like Mind Transfer Jutsu, A Matter of Love, or Outcast. Did you account for that or realize the meaning of the word 'owner' vs 'controller' when you added that text?

This would also mean that Under The Rising Moon and The Blank Page, as well as Naruto vs Sasuke would have to be errataed with the same exposition, to take into account the possibility of a card ever being printed that allows you to apply the effect of a Mission during the Exchange of Jutsu.

The only card out there that I feel needs a clarification errata is nakara path. For heaven sake the kushina with the same template received an errata. Albeit kushina never received it formally.

no I didnt but all they added was your tailed beast ninja cards with an ec of 7+

Exactly. Some cards are written as if whoever came up with the text is a foreigner and not a native English speaker/writer. Naruto is by far the most ambiguous CCG when it comes to putting intention into cards, there are just too many which are written badly. The inconsistency on rulings and numerous exception from rules for some cards don't make it better either. And then there are contradicting rulings by different moderators in the only section where one can possibly search and find an explanation...
