What happens if Gamaken blocks two teams of power 5 or greater and Gamaken gets removed during exchange of jutsu?

I believe that Gamaken does not actually cause the opposing teams to conjoin. The teams just add their power together. Thus when Gamaken is removed the teams are still separate to win 2 battle rewards each. If this is not so then please explain.

Teams are classified as blocked or not blocked during the Showdown. If was removed during EOJ, then the 2 teams he was battling against would not be considered blocked and would each win 2 BRs.
