also, she saved kankuro's life, and kankuro was very helpful in the war against deidara/sasori.

sakura may not have done "a lot" but she was definitely important.

Sakura may have done some things, but nothing to qualify her as good or to make up for her annoying self.

Though yes, tenten has literally done nothing, at least on screen. I kept waiting for some back story into her techs and her to be some badass, even in fillers, but alas, she is doomed forever to be a "has potential" character.

see, I've never understood why people think sakura is so annoying. Usless, perhaps, but I've never really found her to be annoying for the most part.

Hinata on the other hand irritates the crap out of me. It baffles me that she has more fans than sakura. Personally, I don't like ANY of the kunoichi in the series much, with the exception of Konan. But hinata bugs me more than most.

2 Words: Episode 3. She was a blah and dumb character that was only there as "peacemaker" for the team and/orlame plot device (like explaining chakra control or ninja world stuff, the "basics" that Naruto never payed attention too, she would explain it for "him" when really it's for us) That was actually most of the female members in all the teams roles (Hinata and Ino being the exception: Ino did useful things and continues even now as this chapter shows, and Hinata was way to shy to bother keeping Kiba and Shino in check)
She had moments sure, I mean her 2 accomplishments were listed, but did you notice those were both Shippuden? and First season Shippuden even, basically she was only useful in the "Zabuza" saga of Shippuden. Then, it's right back to being weak, uncared for, overshadowed, and just plain bad.

She isn't alone. Kishimoto himself has said he can't write good female characters, and doesn't know why, so they constantly get overshadowed except rare instances. I am on of those "awful Hinata fanboys" but lets face it, anyone with a Female Fave Character isn't doing it for their usefulness.
