Void Deck?

With the pain theme deck void is again possible this format but based from the cards in the starter do you think it would be better to run standard void or more towards void world. Right now im leaning towards standard void. Either way im not quite sure how i want to build the deck yet but if anyway would like to help me out here and maybe post a deck list or two of the two options that would be great and the pros and cons of each. Plus i didnt know if the standard leaned towards more of like an animal rush or what.

void water is big craze right now with suigetsu and orochimaru ... suigetsu dehydration allows you to negate human path and thus taking 2 cards out of your opn hand and keeping them removed since human is a cost

Haha u got my combo too lol. With orochimaru lol. Well I have my void/water. I don't mind making a video and showing you on utube. Just to get an idea. I'm just adding in the 3rd hokage from set 25 when I find it

Use Mizukage, mister. She can negate Human Path during the opponent's turn and she turns Orochimaru into a snipe-kill. Far better than 3rd after you get your ninjas on the board. You shouldn't really need his effect since you'll be draining the hand every turn and Kisame and Jirobo S2 will be eating their chakra anyways. If you need BRs you can use Push for 6 or use Deva's effect on chumpers for 2. The 3rd is pretty extraneous.

I'm pretty sure it isn't your combo. "Personal Tech" has got to be one of the most disgusting concepts to ever enter this game. I had been thinking of Orochimaru+Spiral of Pain since the day the mission was previewed, and it was pretty well-known Human Path perma-RFG'd cards if he was negated even before rotation. The only difference is that now Void is getting more attention because of the winning Gencon deck and the new starter cards.

If you're running pure void it's not a question whether or not to use Void World. Use it 3x. And use the T1 Tobi too. You'll get a +1 every other turn at the very least, more from Icon.

If you're playing Void/X for turn marker rush (works okay for tailed beast in Void/Fire to skip around Angering the Beast) that's another thing altogether since you won't be getting as many draws. I'd say skip Void World then.

Standard Void is pretty cool, but it relies on the new Deva+Push to win. I find Void does better mixed with another element (such as water+hand attack/Orochi snipe or fire+beasts+The Six Paths and Backstab/Dragon Flame) does better.

If you want a water/void decklist I posted one somewhere in the Deck Dojo a while back (somewhere in December?). I can also put up my Void/Fire if you want to see it. Pure Void I have no real suggestions besides using turn marker ramping to get to Naraka+Preta+Deva ASAP so you can push, win 6, and draw more.

First of all is was a joke and was not intended for you so if it doesn't concern you don't go trying to bash on other players. Second personal tech is what makes and breaks any game. If personal tech didn't exist We all would be seeing alot if net decks around here. And third the person wants help building a deck. I just stated my opinion so if you don't like what I'm telling him then that's your problem.

I think you have a bad sense of humor.

When you post on a public forum your audience is, by default, everyone who reads the forum. I wasn't bashing, I was only pointing out to OP and whoever comes along and reads the thread that your comment/opinion about using the 3rd in Void/Water is a bad one. Yes, I don't like your opinion, and yes, that's my problem. I had a problem with it so I stated my own opinion about how the 3rd is bad in that deck and that Mizukage should be used instead. Now you reply all riled up and somewhat defensive saying that I shouldn't be able to refute your opinion. You silly kid. Real life is going to smack you in the face real hard.

Re: Personal tech. Personal preference is what prevents net decking and promotes a wide variety of play, not personal tech. Personal tech are those combos and key cards people attribute to their own ingenuity that they tend to "keep secret and drool over" if I'm recalling my own words correctly. The whole concept of "personal tech" stagnates the meta and to brand a particular card or card combination in your deck as your own is pretty conceited. This kind of tech is perfectly fine up until the day you play it in a tournament, but after that it is no longer "your own". S20 Sakura + TP3 Kakashi in Cruz Control could initially be seen as tech, but the second it was played the concept no longer belonged to him. "Tech" is transient and in no way reserved when it becomes public knowledge. Tech is not special guys, and for everyone on UT00B saying that they're playing a "tech card" because it's different, that's just personal preference at work.

I'm trying to play Void Animal rush, with the original Naraka as backup. You know, pull Chibi Animal and keep it around. Indefinite rush options. However, I'm having trouble tweaking it. What should I combine it with? Also, what do I do if Gamaken comes along? Counter Mission "Your Ninjas cannot be removed from play by your opponent's effects this turn" does not exist in Void, does it?
