Depends what mental ninja you are facing, for example the can easily be stopped by using a jutsu that would injure him, since he is not valid or kill him off.

So run some jutsu that would injure or run some water that negate mental or text effects. Pakkun from set 27 would work but he is not taijutsu.

Strictly speaking taijutsu probably cannot beat mental, like brains beat brawn or whatever.
